…Mina El-Sharif, beautiful and elegant, stumbled into a classroom at the University of Texas quad. Ten minutes late for an after-school club meeting, she grabbed a seat as quiet as she could, hoping to be discreet among the crowd.

Her discretion was tharwted rather quickly when the handsome (and rather dashing) Bilal Haider couldn’t take his eyes off her — Mina’s cheeks were a little red and sweaty from the campus run, but her beauty was unquestionable.

As the club meeting droned on, Mina’s under-the-breath wisecracks were followed by snickers from Bilal, one seat behind her. She turned around and stared; his awkward chuckles were accompanied by a weird shoulder dance, and he shot a nervous smile back.
